Argostoli is the “heart” of the island. Besides the capital of the island, the city of Argostoli, and its suburbs, 10 other communities have been incorporated to the Municipality since 1999. This makes it a geographical and administrative entity blessed and gifted by nature, hospitable and friendly to visitors and humane to its citizens who enjoy continuous great bonds of social cohesion.
